Giving Cars to People Who Really Need Them

We want to help. As one of Fox Valley’s oldest and most trusted car repair and tire shops, we know that we can make a difference. That is why we launched the Deserving Rides Program.”

WHAT IS DESERVING RIDES?

Deserving Rides’ mission is to find used cars with a lot of miles left in them, fix them up the Fox River Tire & Auto way, then give them to members of our community who are in need so they can get back on the road.

HOW DOES DESERVING RIDES WORK?

We accept nominations of someone deserving in the St. Charles & Fox Valley area who needs a reliable car. As cars become available and as we are able to acquire them, we fix up a car to be used in the Deserving Rides program. A deserving recipient is given the donated vehicle along with future car repairs and maintenance, to ensure that their car will serve them well for as long as possible.

WHY DO WE GIVE AWAY CARS?

The St. Charles & Fox Valley area is our home and caring for each other is the most important thing anyone can do, and that is something we are always committed to. In addition to our Deserving Rides program and our long history of delivering high quality auto care, we also support local schools, athletic programs, and nonprofit organizations.

SUBMISSION FORM

To nominate someone you know for a Deserving Ride, simply fill out the form below and tell us in 500 words or less why you are nominating them.

  • This is a ‘blind’ nomination process. Please do not include any personal information, such as the name of the individual you are nominating.
  • Requirements: Your nominee should be:
    1. 18 years or older
    2. A resident of Kane County
    3. Have a valid IL driver’s license
    4. Be able to sustain the donated vehicle (pay for taxes, registration, and insurance).
